G’day trekkers – getting very close now and time is running out for you to get your cars prepared for this years trek. A reminder that the following items need to be completed ASAP.
Each and all of these are very important.
1. Get your memberships fees paid. For the many of you that haven’t – this can be deposited directly into our bank account via direct deposit or PayPal on our website.
2. Start putting your fundraising $$$$$ in the bank.
3. Read the scrutineering checklist and ensure your car is adequately prepared.
4. Contact the accommodation in Merimbula should you require an additional nights accommodation. – Details of the accommodation are in the information and forms section of our website.
5. Inform me of any food allergies or dietary requirements.
6. Get your entry forms in – Yes there are still some “slackas” out there.
7. Get your show bag and auction items from your sponsors – very important this year as we will need 500 show bags. These items will be packed into show bags on the Saturday in Merimbula at Scrutineering.
8. Login to our website and read the information – if you or a team member cannot access the website please email me and I can check your user name and password.
9. Keep fundraising and ensure you re-visit those businesses and people who are thinking about donating to you.
10. MOST importantly – Get Excited!!
All these items have been mentioned over previous newsletter so if you are unsure check them first and then if you are still unsure contact me.
Very shortly I will place a merchandise order form on the website so you will be able to pre-order items such as clothing prior to this years trek. Presently we are working on our online shop but just in case it won’t be ready I will get you to return the order forms via fax or post.
Over the next couple of months I will post reminders and information as it comes to hand on the website so please remember to check it regularly to keep well-informed.
